Music
[another rare 'talking/words entry' by yours truly]
=======
Music/concerts I queue up during photo editing...

JT - THE most talented performer in the biz today, yes I have a man-crush on this fellow [along w/ Matty + JohnW + Wes, et cetera]. Grace + I went to the concert when he was in town and we were mesmorized. Ok, myself more than her. :T
Madonna - Love this girl. She's found the fountain of youth. Not terribly talented as far as vocal abilities/range like some other divas, but still has amazing presence + personality. You can tell she still has strong passion for creating music. Caught her most recent concert in LA, hope there's more to come [her backup dancers are phenomenal].
Shakira - An incredible music talent [vocals/dance/performance], she's been in the game for a while now. Grace makes fun of her voice all the time though and I get really defensive/upset and argue w/ her that she does NOT sound like kermit the frog.
Beasties - Can listen to 'em all day long, they'll likely be recording/touring until 2025.
Winehouse - Her music's not too shabby, but what I'm more fascinated by is when she's conversing w/ the audience and/or media, I can't understand more than 5% of the words she's attempting to convey.
Enrique - Classic, can't go wrong w/ a little Enrique in the mix.
Avril - Versatile girl, not the greatest live performer in my opinion but a lot of her work has staying power.
Rihanna - Ok, I find it quite ironic/hypocritical that every girl + boy makes fun of her 'Um-buh-re-la-la-la' song, but once it hits the radio or the wedding reception dance floor, the same boys + girls go crazy throwin' their hands up + reciting every lyric in the song. :T=======
A few of Grace's favorites...

Bubbles - Grace + Jane + Susie went to this concert this year [JohnH + I narrowly escaped] and they came back w/ a different outlook on life or something. All I know is Susie can't talk straight and starts twitching uncontrollably when his songs starts playing.
Legend - Grace digs him and his smooth, silky, jazzy voice. Zzzzzzz for me. ;]
Carrie - Grace wants to be Carrie Underwood when she grows up.
Alicia - The total package, such soul. Pretty decent actor as well.
Celine - I have to admit, on a lovely 65-degrees summer day in Seattle, I like to drop all the windows + sunroof and sing "My Heart Will Go On" at the top of my lungs crossing over the 520 bridge w/ the wind in my hair. Had the fortune of catching her in Vegas - truly one of Canada's greatest national treasures.
Beyonce - Born diva. Destiny's who?
Mariah - Just when you think she can't go an octave higher...=======
Wifey + I like a ton of more music out there but I'm growing weary from typing words so I'll cease here.

i agree with your choice of JT. i went to his concert here at the staples center this past september. even though we had nosebleed... omyginnis it was SOO FANTASTIC. he is just SO talented.
i also bought his concert on dvd but haven't watched it because i want to wait for the PERFECT moment. lol :]
twitching huh?
interesting
Grace can be Carrie Underwood and I'll be Alicia Keys... =D
LOL you gave me a good laugh. thanks.
Merry Christmas guys!
Agreed, I saw Madonna in concert and she was AMAZING! You know who else knows how to put on a great show? Gwen Stefani... the girl is wonder woman. I'm dying to see JT in concert at some point. And btw, LOVE Rihanna-- interviewed her briefly twice, and she's such a cool girl!
I enjoy your commentary. I like Josh Groban and Kanye West right now. I saw both in concert this year and they were equally lovely.
I wish I could have seen Celine in Vegas. I didn't even try and now, my chance is over.
wow, beyonce and mariah have really changed:) by the way, i am one of those umbrella haters who secretly jams out to it in the car:)
I'm cool with everyone on that list except Avril...I can't stand Avril. I want to fight her in a cage.
does she not like any male singers? i noticed i tend to gravitate more towards female ones. it's strange...
i will openly admit to loving "um-brella-ella-ella... ey-ey-ey." Despite the fact that my brother sang that one line over and over for a month in Japan.
