i want to shoot some photos at the library but i hear you can’t during business hours anymore. lovely photos as usual =]
Yep, already moved down the street across from starbucks corp.
I never said “impoverished souls”.
I end my first paragraph with this statement:
“
I have no problem
with Pastors and Christians to own nice cars, homes, clothes, etc…So long as greed and/or wealth does not become an idol. I don’t believe in this stereotype and/acceptance where pastors and Christians are “suppose” to live below the standard. I believe that God wants us to enjoy life and wants us to be successful financially.”
Agreed. However as you say, my opinion is indeed subjective as it was meant to be [in relationship to the Seattle Times article about Casey Treat]. I agree that wealth is very subjective to culture [but honestly, comparing the definition of "wealth" between cultures is irrelavant. It's comparing apples to oranges. Yes I am [may be] more fortunate in life than someone my age who lives in Nigeria, but that person in Nigeria could be living “luxurious” according to his culture’s standards].
My xanga post was subjective to the culture we live in here in the USA. I was simply stating an opinion that if I were a faithful tither at Christian Faith Center, personally [this is just me], I would be disappointed that my offering was being used for something like this…So that Casey Treat can avoid traffic…If a member of the Christian Faith Center is ok with their tithes being used for a helicopter, then more power to them. I’m not here to judge, nor did I intend to have the tone of judgement [which I understand how it could sound like].
Afterall one of my favorite pastors drives a tight Mercedes from what I hear [TD Jakes]…But at least he has to sit in traffic like everyone else though
Hey Hun!
Happy New Year! So I ‘m looking around and trying to figure out what we want to do for my 2nd daughter, Lexie’s 1st birthday… most likely you probably are booked for July 4th, right? I might be doing the same thing — brunch at Salty’s on alki like I did with Sophie my first daughter. I don’t know if Jane still works for you or if you or Grace are available… What is your website/prices again? Hourly — disc? Etc…?
