My first return to the motherland since I was 11 years old when our family immigrated to the states. Grace loves photographing fluffy clouds on flights…

Our hotel view of day vs. night [Gang Nam]. The beautiful array of colors in the sky is mostly from pollution levels unfortunately… :T

Grace in front of the palace with our week-long tour guide, Jane Oh…

Of course in Seoul, 97% of all activities are centered around when and where we’ll be eating…

My beloved nephew Earnest [aka CJ], reunion at last…

We had the pleasure of meeting up with Janet a few times as well [she's making her annual visit to her parents]…

Koreans love mirrors and reflections to check their face, hair, teeth [after bbq], et cetera…

Subways in Seoul don’t have cat-sized rats roaming around [e.g. New York] – pretty clean and tidy…

If you don’t own a cell phone in Korea by the age of 3, you will be fined then deported…

My aunt, who took amazing care of us while our family lived in Seoul way back in the day. She’s the only 70-year old lady that drives more aggressive than taxi drivers. She was also text messaging during our dinner, which was a surreal experience… :T

Visiting my old elementary school [attended until 3rd grade], this is the very room where I received daily punishments for not maintaining my homework levels [back then there were zero decorations btw]…

Took a train to Busan for a day to visit my noona [daughter of aunt pictured above] who used to walk/bike me to school every day, and always played with my brother and I. It was amazing [quite emotional] seeing her after 21 years. :.] She lives in Australia 1/2 the year so we’re going to visit her in Melbourne at our soonest opportunity…

Yoomi noona buying something for Grace to eat [her favorite raw crab delicacy]…

Yoomi noona buying something to take back to my parents [weird narcotic looking tea stuff]…

Shinhee‘s also working in Korea, we played and ate with her as well…

Of course we have to visit + inspect + review any domestic/international Starbucks shops outside of Seattle… ;]

More eating… Haley is still settling in after moving there last month so she had time to entertain us as well…

While other gals shy away from my camera, Haley embraces her destiny and works it for the sake of photography…

Jane and her beloved roomy Jinny. Don’t kill me for posting Janey… :]

This is supposed to be the most romantic walk in Seoul or something. Haley, Jane, and Grace pictured…

Jinny and brother Sunny at Iceberry, a location we frequented frequently during our stay…

Grace doesn’t like “workin” it for the camera, but she’s generally a good sport when I ask her to… :]

The kaleidoscope of colors in South Beach…

“Work it girl!”

Miami’s beautiful at night and actually warm enough to have the window open while driving…

Moments before I doze off at the wheel again…

The next day we hit up Joe’s Stone Crabs for these exquisite delicacies…

The claws from the Florida Stone Crabs are removed for harvesting and grow back in a year. Makes me wonder which crab holds the world record for the number of times their own claws have been “donated” for consumption by humans… :T

Grace enjoying her claws and seafood bisque in serenity…

Grace lookin’ hot in her bling glasses and enjoying the beach…

A potential candidate image for Grace’s new Xanga profile… :]

Any reflection we see, we take the shot since we’re rarely in a shot together. We look intense eh?

Grace imitating our buddy Matthew…

“Hmmm… not enough color…”

“PERFECT!” [She ended up not purchasing since it wasn't on sale for 75% off, and then another 50% off of that, etc. This girl loves quality clothes but they have to be crazy bargains to be purchase-worthy. :]

“Get the camera out of my face, I’m tryin’ to enjoy my gelato in peace!” >:T
